Welcome! We are a genial and informal group of photographers with skills ranging from beginner to advanced. This site was created to help you learn more about us. Here, you’ll find information about our meetings, events, memberships, and samples of our work.
The club meets twice a month, on the second and fourth Monday, from 7 to 9 pm. While we used to meet at the Sweetbriar Nature Center, we have moved to Zoom for our gatherings since the pandemic. The club is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), which allows our members to participate in monthly PSA judging. We thoroughly enjoy sharing and discussing our images, receiving critiques from PSA judges, and hosting occasional guest speakers and field trips. The club is non-competitive and informal, with very few restrictions on what to photograph or submit. We encourage our members to capture and share whatever inspires them. Whether you’re into landscape, portraiture, wildlife, or something completely different, you’ll find a home here.
We believe that learning from one another is essential to improving our skills in photography. Our focus is on sharing, learning, and enjoying the art of photography together. Each member brings their unique perspective, enriching our club with a variety of individual visions. Whether you’re new to photography and seeking guidance, or an experienced photographer looking to connect with others who share your passion, you will be warmly welcomed.
Please feel free to drop in on one of our meetings to see what we are all about. Its a great way to get to know the club and see if it’s a good fit for you. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like more information via our contact form. Contact Us
